Welcome to the 3mpwrApp Beta Testing Program!
Thank you for helping us build the best advocacy and wellness app for people living with disabilities. Your feedback is invaluable and will directly shape our launch.

⚡ Quick Start (5-Minute Test)
Short on time? Complete this quick test to help us catch the most common issues.
📧 PHASE 1 BETA UNDERWAY: If you’ve been selected as a Phase 1 beta tester, you’ll receive installation instructions via email or message. Please wait for your personalized invitation with setup details.
Step 1: Launch the App (1 minute)
- Open the app and wait ~1 minute for caches to load
- Accept Terms & Conditions when prompted
Step 2: Navigate & Explore (2 minutes)
- Tap every tab at the bottom:
- 🏠 Home → 📢 Campaigns → 👥 Community → 📚 Resources
- 💪 Wellness → ⚖️ Advocacy → ⚙️ Settings → 🎉 What’s New
- Look for problems:
- ❌ Dead links or crashes
- ❌ Error messages that don’t make sense
- ✅ Loading spinners appear when data loads
- ✅ Back button works correctly
- Test offline mode:
- Turn ON airplane mode
- Check if app shows “offline” banner
- Try browsing - cached content should still work
Step 3: Try One Feature (2 minutes)
Pick ONE feature to test thoroughly:
Option A: Letter Wizard
- Go to Resources → Letter Wizard
- Start creating a letter
- Fill in a few fields and save
Option B: Evidence Locker
- Go to Advocacy → Evidence Locker
- Upload a test file (screenshot or photo)
- Check if it appears in your locker
Option C: Mood Tracker
- Go to Wellness → Mood Tracker
- Log how you’re feeling today
- See if it saves correctly
Option D: Community
- Go to Community → Browse channels
- Read a few posts
- Check if everything loads
Step 4: Report What You Found
Found a problem? Report it right away:
- In-App: Settings → About & Feedback → “Send Feedback”
- Email: empowrapp08162025@gmail.com
- Subject: “Beta: [what you were testing]”
- Include: What you tapped, what happened, what you expected
Everything worked? Great! Tell us what you liked:
- Same methods as above
- Let us know what felt easy or helpful
📱 Getting Started
📧 PHASE 1 BETA UNDERWAY: Selected Phase 1 testers will receive installation instructions via email or direct message. Check your inbox for your personalized invitation.
What you’ll need when you receive your invitation:
- A compatible iOS (13.0+) or Android (6.0+) device
- Your email address (for beta invitation)
- At least 500 MB of free storage space
Your invitation will include:
- Installation link (TestFlight for iOS or Play Beta for Android)
- Step-by-step setup instructions
- Beta tester welcome message with support contacts
Haven’t received your invitation yet?
- Phase 1 is limited to 20-50 testers
- Additional testers will be invited in Phase 2 (Open Beta)
- Email empowrapp08162025@gmail.com to express interest for future phases

Week 1: Basics & Core Features
Priority 1: Essential Functionality
- Account Setup: Create account OR use as guest, email verification, sign in/out
- Onboarding: Complete 7-day journey or skip, progress saves
- Profile & Settings: Set up disability profile, configure energy levels, change language
- Navigation: Test all 8 main tabs, back button, check for dead links
Week 2: Key Features
- Letter Wizard: Choose template, fill info, save draft, export
- Evidence Locker: Upload documents, view files, add notes, delete
- Wellness Tools: Mood tracker, sleep tracker, energy coins
- Community: Browse channels, read posts, join Beta Testers Chat
- Campaigns: Browse, join, track progress, complete actions
- Resources: Browse guides, search topics, bookmark items
- Deadlines: Add deadline, set reminder, edit, mark complete
- Notifications: Enable, test reminders, tap to open app
- Bookmarks: Bookmark items, view all, remove, check persistence
Week 3: Accessibility Features
- Screen Reader: Test VoiceOver/TalkBack navigation
- Visual Accessibility: High contrast, large text, color themes
- Cognitive Accessibility: Step-by-step mode, breadcrumbs, navigation memory
- Dyslexia Support: OpenDyslexic font, line spacing, reading ruler
- Motor Accessibility: Larger touch targets, dwell click, tremor support
Week 4: Edge Cases & Advanced Testing
- Network Conditions: Offline mode, slow network
- Device Conditions: Low battery, low memory, storage full
- Device Rotation: Portrait to landscape on all screens
- App Lifecycle: Backgrounding, interruptions, multi-device testing

Tips for Great Feedback
- Be Specific: “Mood Tracker takes 10+ seconds to load” vs “app is slow”
- Include Steps: List what you tapped to reproduce issue
- Add Screenshots: Pictures help us understand

🐛 Bug Reporting Guide
Determine Severity
🔴 CRITICAL (Report Immediately)
- App crashes on launch every time
- Cannot sign in or create account
- Evidence or letters disappearing
- Security or privacy issues

🟠 HIGH (Report Within 24 Hours)
- Feature completely doesn’t work
- Can’t complete onboarding
- Notifications not sending
- App crashes frequently
🟡 MEDIUM (Report Within 3 Days)
- Feature behaves oddly
- UI elements misaligned
- Translation errors
- App sometimes slow
🟢 LOW (Report Anytime)
- Typos in text
- Cosmetic/visual issues
- Minor layout quirks
- Feature suggestions

❓ Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How long will beta testing last? A: Approximately 2-4 weeks, depending on how quickly we resolve issues.
Q: Will my data transfer to the production app? A: Yes, if you sign in with an account. Guest data may not transfer.
Q: Can I use the beta app as my daily app? A: Yes, but be aware that bugs may occur. Back up important documents externally.
Q: How often will you release updates? A: We aim for 1-2 updates per week during active beta.
Q: I’m not very technical. Can I still be a beta tester? A: Absolutely! We need testers of all skill levels.
Q: I found a security issue. Who do I tell? A: Email empowrapp08162025@gmail.com immediately with subject “SECURITY ISSUE”. Do NOT post publicly.
Q: Is my data safe during beta? A: Yes. We use the same encryption and security as the production app.
Q: Can I opt out of analytics? A: Yes! Go to Settings → Privacy and disable analytics.
